Empowering Communities: Our Journey Towards Fair & Equity in Bangladesh

In 2022, REHAF marked the completion of its 14th year of service. This year, we successfully implemented several impactful programs in education, health, community engagement, and social development: Key Activities: Pre-Primary Education: 35 children (ages 4–6) completed a year of pre-primary education and were enrolled in local primary schools with support from REHAF teachers trained by professionals. Free Friday School: Provided free education and learning materials to 54 children and working adolescents (ages 8–17) through our volunteer-run Friday school program. Scholarships & Education Materials: Distributed educational supplies and awarded scholarships to poor but meritorious students. Library Established: A library was set up for children, youth, and persons with disabilities, with 37 regular readers and a wide collection of books in Bengali and English. Teacher Training: Trained 60 teachers (including 8 head teachers) through 1–2 day programs focused on youth development, equality, and life skills. Health Services: Free Friday health check-ups and eye tests. Distributed primary medicines to underprivileged patients. Provided ongoing medical support for poor families.
