TFT Vacancy Announcement: Health Manager, L-4
Tashkent, Uzbekistan
Under the general guidance of the Deputy Representative, responsible for
managing, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the
Improvement of Mother and Child Health Services funded by EU. The manager will
be responsible for the overall management of the project in compliance with the
UNICEF rules and regulations, while also complying with the requirements of the
specific contribution agreement between the EC and UNICEF. He/ she will plan
and manage all inputs of the project, prepare Terms of Reference for all staff
to be employed during the project duration and control the implementation of
all activities and ensure that responsibilities are delegated as appropriate.
The manager will have overall responsibility for the preparation of monthly and
biannual progress reports in accordance with the required format. The manager
will follow up on use of the budget to ensure that funds available are spent
without exceeding the overall budget ceiling. Duration of the project is for
2.5 years.
Your profile:
Advanced university degree preferably in Public Health or a related
technical field.
Eight years progressively responsible professional work experience at
the national and international levels in programme
planning, management, monitoring, and evaluation, in a related field.
Experience in managing EU funded project will be an advantage.
